[0:00] And truth. And that's verses 8 and 9. I will continue in learning what is pleasing to God and not hold my ideas as though I am the sole holder of truth.

[0:14] ! Potty humor or listen to sordid stories of co-workers night escapades.

[0:40] Instead I will expose what might be the motives that they should examine. And that's verses 11 to 13.

[0:55] And therefore I will be careful how I live out my faith. For I know that my days are limited and the world is desperately broken.

[1:12] And that's verses 15 to 16. I will not let any substance or habit master me. But instead I will let God's spirit fill my heart and mind with singing and speaking in thanks.

[3:18] Y los dos serán una sola carne. Grande este es misterio. Mas yo digo esto con respecto a Cristo y a la iglesia. If I did not know better, I would think that Paul seems to be changing topics.

[6:53] So my intent today is not to go over the marriage relationship issues any more than they are needed to fill out the thread of what Paul wants us to understand.

[11:03] So included in this first clue is the reason. Incluyendo en esta primera clave está la razón. In verse 23. In verse 23. It is because the body's head.

[18:50] How do we influence others toward wanting new life? ¿Cómo influenciamos nosotros a los demás para que ellos anhelen una nueva vida? So Paul uses this word mystery more than a dozen times in his letters to the churches.

[19:06] He uses it as a spiritual truth that was previously hidden. Lo usa como una verdad espiritual que fue previamente escondida.

[19:17] But it now comes to light through the finished work of Jesus' life, death and resurrection. So we've heard the clues.

[27:32] That's an old fashioned word that means loyal pledge of faithfulness. That's a palabra antigua que significa un trato que se hace con un compromiso. We enter into a commitment to our brothers and sisters that is helping them toward the cross-like living of giving up themselves for the sake of Christ.

[36:31] Como que voy a perderme de algo. And so it makes sending an RSVP to a wedding announcement feel scary. Because something might come along. Es como si ya mando la invitación que voy a ir a la boda.

[36:44] Y si se me presenta algo mejor, entonces quedé ya atrapado. But let me mention that that mentality is one of those things mentioned in Colossians 2.8. Quiero decirles que esa mentalidad es la que se menciona en Colossians 2.8.

[36:57] It is a philosophy of empty deception that is according to the traditions of men and the elementary principles of the world. Esto es algo deceptivo que está conforme a la mente del mundo y no a la palabra.

[37:10] Rather than on Christ. Y no centrado en Cristo. You're right. Usted tiene razón. There are endless options available. Hay muchas opciones infinitas que están disponibles.
